We recommend:

• Do not spray perfume or other body sprays while wearing your gold-plated jewellery. These products often contain chemicals which can dissolve or tarnish the layers of gold on your piece. Instead, apply perfume before putting jewellery on for the day, this gives the products time to settle into the skin.
• The same should be said for lotions and creams – wait for these products to dry/be absorbed before wearing plated rings, Studs, bracelets or necklaces.
• Avoid harsh substances like oils, polishes, nail polish remover and chlorine as these chemicals may react with the metals in the jewellery.
• Avoid excessive sweating in your pieces or remove plated jewellery when exercising to reduce tarnishing.

We offers all customers three months warranty for all faulty jewellery from date of purchase. 

Faulty jewellery includes; Broken Chains/Clasp/Stones, manufacturer error that inhibits the proper use of the jewellery and discolouring - does not include fading from use in water.

All transactions outside the three month warranty period can not be returned or exchanged due to faults. We can not accept returns/exchanges for lost items.

Kindly note that Health and Hygiene Laws restrict the return of earrings, therefore, we can't accept returns and exchanges of any earrings and pierced jewellery. 

How To Make A Return

1. If you wish to request a return, please email slowdancestudio@gmail.com with your reason for the change of mind and your online order number. 

2. If your return is approved, you will be given return information via an email reply, however, it is important to note that (unless deemed faulty) return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. You can choose between a refund back to the exact and original payment method or an online credit to the purchase value of the product/s. 

3. Once your return is received by slow dance studio and inspected, we will send you a courtesy email to notify you that we have received and processed your returned item/s.
